Our Story
The Fioni® story begins with a passion for self-expression and a dash of wanderlust. Our founder, Vanessa, grew up traveling the world with her family. She loved immersing herself in new cultures and exploring diverse landscapes. But no matter where her journeys took her, she always made sure to pack her favorite heels, wedges, and boots.
Vanessa saw firsthand how fashion and footwear can break down barriers and connect people across borders. She also realized that many women struggle to find shoes that are both comfortable and cute. There seemed to be a gap in the market for footwear that fused trend-right style with real wearability.
Armed with global inspiration and a vision for versatile, fashion-forward shoes, Vanessa launched Fioni® in 2015. She poured her insights from a lifetime of travel into creating a line of shoes designed for the modern, adventurous woman. The name itself nods to Vanessa’s diverse background, blending Italian flair with Japanese minimalism.
